Day in Clay

Thank you to everyone in the Auburn community who joined us at Day in Clay on March 16th. Your participation and enthusiasm made it a truly memorable day filled with creativity. We appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you again next Spring.

Each year the City of Auburn's Ceramics Studio holds and annual open house at their studio. In 2024, the Ceramics Studio moved to the Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center! The event was held on Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 1 - 4 p.m. This annual event was an opportunity for the public to visit our fully-equipped studio, try their hand at making a ceramic piece, enjoy complementary beverages and snacks as well as watch sculpture and throwing demonstrations by studio members.

Day in Clay also offers everyone the opportunity to register and create a hands-on project with studio instructors. Both adult and kid’s workshops are taught. Adult and kid's projects are $10 for each participant. Check back for updates on the 2025 Day in Clay.
